Can Arsenal FINALLY get that trophy, after Dumping Liverpool Out of FA Cup?

Well, they didn't concede five which was a good start....nor did they concede early. Arsenal put up a better defensive performance, albeit with some luck, and led by THE OX, they actually did some attacking, took some chances and in the end were rewarded with what was a very close game that Liverpool could have won themselves.

I said this when I first saw him play a few times. THE OX IS A BETTER FOOTBALLER THAN WALCOTT. Always is and always will be. Where Theo relies on his speed, Oxlade has the natural gift of control and knows how to weave past a defence using his natural footballing balance. THIS was his match, and with the goal AND the assist as well as being the most dangerous Arsenal player on the field, he's shown Wenger and the fans that he is the future of the club and HE CAN STILL EVOLVE INTO A TRULY GOOD PLAYER THAT RELIES ON BEING EFFECTIVE RATHER THAN FLASHY. He was the one that instigated the link-ups, and one-twos with Sanogo and co, forcing Liverpool to have to think about their positions as they back-tracked once they came forward. If only Ozil could raise his game to the level that this young chap is at...

Liverpool had their chances...TWO GREAT  CHANCES at the start. If Sturridge had put those two away....GAME OVER. He was unlucky with them, they were difficult...but that's just a cold hard fact. He had the chance to put the game to bed early like they did at Anfield.
The Cannibal was a threat throughout, and tried all the tricks in the book, including selling to Webb what was a soft penalty. In the end, he just could not cut that bread and Arsenal did enough to restrict him having clear shots on goal...forcing him to have to work hard to get ANYTHING whatsoever.

Liverpool have the league left, and they are in a great position to focus ALL THEIR efforts in going for it. Arsenal, in my opinion, must do all they can in this FA Cup as well as the league. Everton will be a VERY hard match, and after that....it SHOULD all be about Manchester City. But Arsenal fans must not celebrate yet. Okay, they got their revenge in the best way they could...but it's all about getting rid of all those cobwebs that are really stinking up the Emirates.
