Hey Barcelona, am I Supposed to Be Impressed By that Performance against Man City?

What the HELL was that shit? I mean, was this supposed to be Barcelona showing that they were back in the elite? Was this supposed to show that Mourinho and co (ME!) were wrong in asserting that this was one of the worst Barcelona teams in a very long time? HELL NAW! THIS WAS RUBBISH!

We all know what Mourinho said, about this being the "worst Barcelona in years" and after that crap display, we have all these journalists with the "no way Jose" response. THIS is why I don't really watch any football talk shows. It's these same fools that hail Cristiano as a great and Messi on the same level as Maradona.
  Barcelona have fallen off. City could have EASILY snatched a win and if it was not for that one moment, I would have gone with maybe a 1-0 win to City...at WORST, 0-0. This Barcelona team just are void of the creativity and imagination they had under Pep, but what most don't notice is how they are not of the same ilk without Iniesta at the top of his game.

With Andres not playing well, Barcelona lack that attacking thrust that was the icing on the cake for them. Messi NEEDS both Xavi and Iniesta to function to the best of his abilities. While Xavi provides some of those piercing passes from deep in the midfield...it's Iniesta who is the man who can cut through defenders right in the heart of the danger area, and feed Messi where it really counts.
   Iniesta was a non-entity in the game and thus, Barcelona were just happy to pass sideways, backwards and OCCASIONALLY move the ball forward....if they you know...felt like it.

 It would be a farce if Barcelona won the Champions League, as this team would get BEAT THE HECK DOWN by the Bayern machine, and an emerging PSG. If they are to have any hope of doing any real damage, then they will need Iniesta to return to the top of his game alongside a fit and ready Messi...only then, can Barcelona have any real chance. BUT, is this team really motivated enough to do what they have already done twice before?
