The Fall of Van Marjwik after getting sacked as Hamburg Boss

Shit. This is a true fall of a man. Remember when this was the man in charge of a Holland team most expected to win Euro 2012? Remember what happened? And to now go from that to losing to BRAUNSCHWEIG really does chart a sharp downward spiral for this this poor dude.

The loss to Bayern five zip was really the end. All can understand the might of Bayern, but to lose so heavily and in the manner they did just was the precursor. IF he had any chance of saving himself, it was against a team that is below you. The moment you lose a match like that, please take your ass OUT OF TOWN.
My deduction goes back to 2012 and what happened to Holland. Bert never recovered from that. The way in which that Dutch team went out was so embarrassing, ESPECIALLY when you looked at the talent that was on that team.

It was the inability to handle a team of stars that lead to the national disgrace that was that tournament. That moment is something that will live with him for the rest of his life. It definitely carried on in one shape or another into his Hamburg tenure which has lead to the team fighting for relegation...when they ought not to be.
In moments like this, my suggestion is to go back home in a VERY low manner and manager a much smaller team. A man needs to eat and provide for the family, so taking a long break might not be advisable. As for Hamburg, a new manager cannot come soon enough and a need to feel refreshed and to play with no-holds barred will be needed in order to save their season.
