Moyes Comes Through Against Aston Villa....With Help From Rooney, Mata...AND FREAKIN' KAGAWA!!!!
Kagawa was the man-of-the-match. I don't care about Rooney's two goals or Mata's finish. The MAIN man on the pitch who made things happen, got United ticking and was involved in TWO of United's goals was Kagawa. Shinji, SHINJI, SHINI. And no, he won't start against Bayern....
When Villa went up through the free-kick, I thought this would be the final match Moyes would manage. Villa would WIN, that banner would go UP, and Moyes would take off his kilt, put it over his shoulder and head back to Glasgow.
Well, Villa forgot that KAGAWA was playing and neither Carrick nor Cleverley. And it was Shinji who played a clever pass from deep to give Rooney a free header, and it was Shinji who played a perfectly timed through-ball to Mata who was fouled for the penalty. It was Kagawa who made the United attack more flamboyant and less predictable. I really hope Kagawa is dropped again when they play Bayern, and the Bavarians SMACK THE SHIT out of them. Maybe Moyes would finally learn as he is on his way out?
United were playing Aston Villa...just keep that in mind. They played a lot better compared to the City match, but the team I saw today who won by four goals will probably LOSE by four goals against Bayern. They have SO MUCH to improve upon, and if Benteke just decided to actually be a striker today, then he would have gotten a hat-trick. I do not have faith under Moyes of United even coming CLOSE to beating the might of Bayern.
I think in life, sometimes people need to learn the hard way, and the HARDEST way possible. If Moyes will stick by his guns and for some inexplicable reason, stick with Cleverley over Kagawa...then I just pray and hope Bayern DECIMATE them so badly in the first leg, that the second leg gets cancelled in fear of the United fans wanting to hang Moyes by his balls.
Kagawa makes United tick.
He works well with Rooney and Mata.
He MAKES THINGS HAPPEN.
