Arsenal have an Addiction.....THEY LOVE GETTING BEAT-UP...as Everton SMACK them 3-0
Very sad. I thought that AT LEAST, Arsenal could get a draw. I knew they did not have enough to win. But to just bend over and just take it without putting up a worthy fight is just disgusting. Everton, TOTALLY deserved to win and anyone who saw the match would know 3-0, was a very KIND score...should have been more.
Arsenal were crap. From the first minute, to the last, the SUCKED. I'm not going to mince words, or try and sugarcoat anything. They were CRAP. It's just so amazing how a manager will force a team to play the same exact way, with the players playing in the same exact position. It's clear evidence of a manager who is out of touch and perhaps does not have the ability to reinvent himself or to make brave changes to his team, to try and win.
Everton, were very fucking good. For the whole match, they played like a complete team that had full confidence in their abilities. Precise passing, great runs, great tackling, better organization and a team full of ideas and really exciting young players.
Ha, when you have some guy called COLEMAN, doing Brazilian samba skills then you know you have a team that is VERY CONFIDENT in their abilities. Everton simple just ran Arsenal out of the building and kept the door shut, so they couldn't get back in. It was that bad.
I will have to put in a vote for Martinez to be coach of the year. What he has done with this team, a very YOUNG team, is amazing. He is getting the BEST out of every player and there is a wonderful synergy that flows through the team, as it a beautiful functioning machine void of any prima-donnas or stars or egos.
Rodgers has done great things, but he does have one of the best players in the world, whereas Martinez is working with very good players who are still improving and getting better. That is why he simply has to get my vote.
All in all, it was the very ugly side of Arsenal who I can't believe how inept they were. No heart, desire, creativity and bravery. Everton wanted it more, fought harder and CRUCIALLY, played better. As simple as that, nothing more to add to the cake. Everton deserve fourth, but as you look at that fixture list, it favors Arsenal who get raped by good teams but seem to be able to be consistent with the lesser teams. Martinez has to just hope that he can have faith in the cribb when the two Manchester teams come to visit.
