LIVERPOOL SHOW THEY ARE READY TO FIGHT ALL THE WAY....BUT MOURINHO THE VILLAIN WON'T BACK DOWN
They did it. They refuse to let-up, and are determined to get it done. I thought that Liverpool would get found out, and the REAL teams of Chelsea and City would be battling till the end. But the red team have made things different and exciting. Rodgers has set out his attacking mentality that has made them win TEN games, and whilst not on the brink of the title, they are in a VERY good position.
Brendan Rodgers is now the new hot kid on the block. Last year it was Klopp, but what Rodgers has managed to done is what EVERY club or team hopes for. To ATTACK, to ENTERTAIN, and to actually WIN. It's the perfect combination that doesn't always work. But Rodgers is determined to make it happen. That's the buzzword....DETERMINATION.
How the script should have gone in that match with Liverpool racing to a lead, City come back and eventually show the newbies HOW CHAMPIONS ROLL. But Coutinho had other things on his mind, and Liverpool are really focusing on this mindset..."WIN EVERY GAME, AND YOU WIN THE TITLE."
There is that belief that's picking up, and I am hearing everyone say that Liverpool are going to win it, and it's their destiny. They have played so well all season, and all the ingredients are there.
A player having a memorable season in the Cannibal, a natural goalscoring machine in Sturridge, young and skillful and QUICK attacking midfielders, a CAPITAN, a passionate defense and a very good goalkeeper. It's all there, but there is that Portuguese man who is still waiting in the shadows and will be ready to pounce IF Liverpool somehow slip up.
City are still not even out of it yet, if they win their games in hand. But I look at Chelsea's remaining fixtures, and they are games that they should clean house with. THAT is why Liverpool must not even think they are close, because Chelsea have been here and done it. They have the cap, khakis and timbs to prove it. And I'm sorry, my pennies are with the sinister Mourinho who is preparing the mind-games for Liverpool.
It's going to be a classic finish. The season will already go down as a classic with the battle for fourth and the relegation battle all very much up for grabs. But at the top, Liverpool have already put themselves in the history books with the amount of goals they have scored....but all that will REALLY be remembered is if they did it. If they won the league. I can GUARANTEE, if Liverpool are to win the league, it will take something UGLY and RESOUNDING to do it. Like the Newcastle game on the last day of the season, where the nerves and the pressure will be on, Liverpool will need to WIN rather than try and play their attacking way.
Be weary of Mourinho and NEVER bank against him.
