That's all I care about. The last time I saw Khedira kick a ball was at the World Cup, and before that was back during the medieval times. So, I just want to know if in fact he still knows how to function on a football field.
Juventus, as every cow, donkey and human knows NEED attack minded wingers. That has been their only weakness. They carry no threat from the wide areas, and with players like Robben and Neymar, these are very crucial positions. So one must ask themselves why in two blue cracks are they going for a player who does not currently play football? How will this benefit them?
Khedira has his quality, when he is fit, to be the muscle in midfield and keep things ticking. But Vidal and Pogba do that with no problem at all, so why the need for him? I just don't really see the added benefit other than to change things up to keep players fresh in midfield. But as a signing to really excite and make people cheer...this fails considerably.
I'm not too sure whether Khedira has anything else to offer in his career. He has the one medal that matters in all of football, so he should just follow Xavi to Saudi and get that oil money. There is no shame in doing that. At the end of the day, we all have to eat and we are entitled to eat well. But to now go to an elite team like Juventus knowing your bones are as strong as a banged-up piece of feather is pretty damn offensive to the Italian champions.
Who's wise idea was it to even have me to write this damn article by trying to purchase this dude???
