Zola talks up BALOTELLI Potential
It's always good when a DAMN AMAZING player has good things to say about you. Anybody who watched Chelsea back in the 90's would have known of the Little Italian. For me, he was EASILY one of the top three players to ever grace the Premiership. That's a lofty claim, but all who saw him would agree with me. The only disappointment was that he did not feature enough for Italy.....and he DESERVED to.
Moving onto Super Mario...Zola seems to think that Balotelli could one day be quite an incredible player. Zola is absolutely right. He sees that there is still great potential and if fulfilled, he can be a damn DEVASTATING asset for Italy in oncoming tournaments.
Zola also has faith that Prandelli is the right man to handle Balotelli and get the best out of him. That is obviously the main concern....which is handling Balotelli's temper and making sure you don't jeopardize his competitive spirit by doing so.
I really support Balotelli and love his attitude and character. Football would be very boring without him. So I do think that it would be pretty helpful if he and Zola had a plate of pasta and talked about the little intricate things a striker can do to improve his game. Zola can teach him how to be evasive and avoid defenders, and also make those killer runs into the box that catches the defenders off guard.
Next year will be a great World Cup and Balotelli while still very young can still have a BIG impact if he can behave himself and just focus. In truth, it is not ALWAYS his fault and refs may be out to get him. But he can still go a long way in being sensible but still managing to have that killer edge about him. For me, as a STRIKER in that position....he is THE BEST. The only one close to him for the position would be Lewandowski. But without a doubt, if I was playing a strategy that needed an ALL OUT striker....Super Mario would be i my team. But he needs to prove that he not only the best striker....but perhaps the best player in the world.
