It Would be a TRAVESTY for Football if Ribery does not win Ballon D'OR

The sake of any credibility that football has left is at stake. I've pretty much given up on it, with people hailing any new thing as great and this era of hype. THIS is just too much for me to ignore. There rarely has been something so clear as cookies and ice cream before. One team has had total dominance in football, lead by a few select players. I ONLY want to hear Bayern players in the conversation and NO ONE else. Most have accepted that despite Robben's great efforts and Bart Simpson's excellent consistency, Ribery has been that crucial standout performer. So why in three hells am I hearing CRISTINA'S name being mentioned?!!!!

Apart from scoring a lot of goals, Cristiano is pretty much useless. He prances around for ninety minutes, gets his goal then continues not doing anything on the pitch.
Against a Sweden side that were the WORST team that country has ever put out, Cristiano scored a standard hat trick that was mostly a result of incredible passes by Joao Moutinho.
Does anyone remember the Rivaldo hat-trick that ended with a bicycle kick? Or does anyone recall the REAL Ronaldo hat-trick at Old Trafford? Those two in my opinion are what you call SEXY hat-tricks.....not just this nonsense that is forced down our throats.

I am baffled by the boost in support Cristiano is getting and just how ridiculous it was the voting was extended just to SUPPORT his claim. I like to keep things real on the other hand.
Ribery is ALL football. His movement, confidence on the ball and his willingness to take on any defender is how we all played ball on the street. He's the kind of guy you would find in the cages with people cheering him on with his abilities.
This is why for the sake of football, Ribery HAS to win. He has just done way too much as a footballer last year to be overlooked. Forget the individual accolades he has and the dust and cobwebs that are building up in Cristiano's trophy cabinet, just look at the two players. If you take away GOALS from the equation which is unfair to use when you compare a midfielder to a striker, and you look at what they did over ninety minutes last year and you even WHISPER Cristina's name....then just get the hell out of my sight as you know NOTHING about football.

Sad thing is....A LOT of people seem to fit into that category.
