Inter have been struggling for a real striker. With Milito, who seems to have been injured for eternity, Mazzarri, NEEDS that goal man, as he has too many creative players and don't give me ANYTHING about Palacio. For some reason, Mourinho feels Blondie is better than Ba and is ready to offload him to Inter.
Ba exploded while in Newcastle and was one of the hottest strikers around. Him and Cisse formed a SUPER partnership and Ba pretty much scored in every game. That is why he moved to Chelsea, but he's just not hit those heights that he did in the northern club.
I don't care, he is STILL better than Blondie, and has just looked more lethal and potent when given the chance. End of the day, it has not really worked out and he has not been that Drogba that my boy has been looking for. I do think Ba has it in him, and can still get goal and maybe a move to a whole different climate can actually help him to get back to his great goalscoring abilities.
Inter are a good team and have improved A LOT since Mazzarri has taken over. Their only problem is despite all the chances they create, they never put them away. What they miss to complement Guarin's and Alvarez's playmaking styles is a FINISHER. Someone who feeds of passes, and is always looking for that ball to put it away. That is what Mazzarri has been searching for and I do think that Ba may turn out to be a hit with them. He can score the ugly goal and really get himself mixed in with defenders. Mazzarri just needs to work him into the system of the team so that they are all on the same wavelength and Inter can actually start scoring more goals, winning more games and climbing up on that table.
