Yaya Toure DESERVEDLY Clinches African Footballer of the Year Award

Is there really any dispute? Any sort of argument really? Is there? Yaya Toure was named the CAF African player of year. He's now won it three times in a row and there is NO DOUBT that he has deserved it all those years and this year as well. Yaya is an AMAZING footballer and for what he does on the pitch, there are not many in the world that do it as well as him.

The ONLY thing that one can say against him getting the award, is how they lost out to the Eagles in the quarters of the Nations Cup. Yaya was not able to rise above and inspire his team to take down Nigeria, as I thought he was going to do. Although, when you go up against King Keshi....we all know that is always hard!
Apart from that, he is still the main man for Ivory Coast, helping them past Senegal in the playoffs and for City, he IS the engine. Passing, tackling, leadership, shooting, scoring, creation....he has it all and he IS the most complete all-round player in the world. There is no other footballer like him that does what he does. If there is one, please...tell me who that guy is.
Looking ahead for the World Cup, the time is running out for this Ivorian Golden Generation. They have been given a favorable group and THIS is the time for Yaya to hopefully, assuming there is no injury, that he goes forth and does damage at that World Cup and shows the world what an incredible player he is. The one thing missing is that gold medal for the national team for him to be talked as one of the greats in the game.
