A WEAK-ASS PERFORMANCE, BUT ARSENAL DUG DEEP AND MADE IT THROUGH AGAINST WIGAN, FOR THE FA CUP FINAL

Arsenal were not good. They were NOT good. Scared, inept, creatively defunct...and they only managed to squeeze through. Wigan put up a very brave fight, and almost managed to do it, but the FEAR of losing got to them, and it was sheer will and determination that got them through...and not skill.

Wigan managed to get in the lead, and they DESERVED IT. The best player on the pitch, McCrachan was the instigator and him running into the heart of the box forcing Mertesacker into a challenge. Penalty, that took THREE THOUSAND YEARS to happen, Rodriguez put it away and Arsenal were not facing defeat...yet again.

I did not see how Arsenal would get back. There was nothing in their play or tactics, that could convince me that they would equalize. When Podolski came off for Giroud, I was already getting ready to proclaim Wigan as finalists. But there was that fear in Arsenal that spurned them on. Tactics went out the way, and it was all about just GETTING THAT GOAL. That's where the German stepped up, and got in the right place at the right time, and put it away. It was ALL ABOUT DESIRE....which is something Arsenal have been SEVERELY lacking as of late. But know....Arsenal have still not won a game since the Tottenham win.

If Arsenal manage to actually win the FA Cup, then Mr. Fabianski will need to be given a big huge....hotdog?

He delivered. Saving those penalties, to give Arsenal the confidence to put away their penalties away smoothly. But he may still be going, but this would be a great good-bye to Arsenal...again...IF...they go on to win the FA Cup.

I refuse to put my money on Arsenal winning the FA Cup. They were very weak in this match and are lacking that spark that they had. Hull City will be a much TOUGHER match and Arsenal will need to grow bigger balls if they are to finally exorcize their demons....AND JUST WIN THIS FREAKING TROPHY.
