PSG can put the final dagger through Chelsea's heart if they were to score two goals. One goal may not be enough as Chelsea have shown that they can come back, and are capable of scoring three or more at the Cribb. That's why Blanc MUST go on the offensive, seize the initiative and put in either Pastore or Moura from the start.
Lucas is a player. From the moment he came on for PSG against Chelsea, he immediately had an impact. Pastore may have scored that great goal, but Moura was a problem throughout, and I can just see a nice partnership and connection that can emerge between him and Cavani. With Ibra out, and Cavani hopefully being played in a more central focal position, this can bring Moura to play just behind him and given the LICENSE TO BALL, and run with the gold.
It's a risk. He may work better as an impact player, and PSG may not want to be too gung-ho to begin with as Chelsea WILL come at them. But that is why my friends, PSG need to start with a Moura. Because Chelsea will attack, and throw some men forward, because the crowd will demand it. This means when PSG win the ball, they will need someone who can run with it and play passes at SPEED to Lavezzi and Cavani up at the top. That's where Moura must come in as he can facilitate that, and make that happen.
I like the confidence that this kid has, and he is someone who can be given somewhat of a free-role, and be allowed to drift out into the wing and comes inside. But just with Moura, Blanc must encourage him to dribble, and force the Chelsea defenders out, and create space for Cavani and Lavezzi to really do serious damage. I think he is very capable of opening things up, because uses BOTH feet and has an attack-minded persona as with many Argentines. He HAS to be used at some point....
