Can Costa Rica go a FURTHER Step By Slaying the Orange Dragon of Holland?

They have already made history, just like Colombia did. But Costa Rica can still make better history. Yes, they are facing Robben, Van Persie and the gang...but Pinto and Wanchope both know that it is a Dutch team that CAN be beaten and have come from the jaws of defeat twice now. But can the Ricans do something amazing?

Pinto has come out and talked of the Robben diving issue. I pray that there is no controversy in this match. It would be SHIT if Costa Rica go out through a contentious penalty. I want this to be a clean fight with no low blows.

For the Ricans, I think it's a case of playing their game. Stick to what made them top a TOUGH group and use that mental strength that saw them through against the Greeks. With that recipe, the Dutch will be in for a very tough game. No matter what Netherlands say, they will be having a World Cup semi-final in the back of their mind because THEY see this as a great opportunity. It SHOULD have been Uruguay or Italy or....England in this quarter. But it's the small Central-American country and that is where Costa Rica have gotten their strength. Perhaps they were the favorites against Greece, but from this moment on...they will ALWAYS be the underdogs.

It's a HUGE task against a Dutch team that are hungry, deadly and have some of the best finishers that our planet has to offer people. But stories are there to be written and Greece showed in 2004 that on that VERY, VERY rare occasion, David can rise up and give Goliath that sucker-punch that knocks him to the ground.....maybe....
