They can see it, and they can smell it. The title is within their grasps. With just a few more wins, soon mathematically, Mourinho would have returned the crown back to the Bridge. And there is yet another obstacle for my boy, but even though it is away from a team that ARE playing for a lot and their survival, the quality of Chelsea SHOULD see them through.
Ramsey took over a team that were not really a team. A bunch of individuals with no cohesion. His task, especially with the pressure of being black, was close to impossible. But, there is still a very good chance of surviving, but against Chelsea today, this may have to be a match that will need to slip by and instead look at West Ham.
YES, Chelsea have been shaky and you can see the nerves. A few of the players in the team have never won a league trophy. Their star man, Hazard, knows how close he is to success that he has never tasted and when you are so close, these are the kinds of matches you can slip up on. If this was at home, then there would be no point in even commenting on this. But being away, against a team in relegation who CAN still stay up, just makes things a little bit more trickier for my boy. It means that they just need to focus on their game, and know that when you face these kinds of teams in the situation they're in at their cribb....they play with a lot more gusto and fight.
QPR just need to just get their structure right. Make sure Chelsea are not settled, and throw out the
pretty football passing and instead just focus solely on getting the ball to Austin, who is their man on fire right now. So it's about that route number one, direct, and forward moving, to keep putting pressure on the Chelsea defence who can drift away. Terry is no longer the young one and Cahill was never a great defender and can always get found out....if you mange to just catch the cat out. But it won't be easy, and even if QPR are playing for something...Chelsea WANT that title, and Mourinho wants to get the victories straight up, and does not want any kind of doubts to be creeping into his team. Do it early, get it over and done with.
Oh.....and Chelsea ARE already champions by the way, I just wrote this to humour all you doubters. HH
