How the @*#?!: do you let in THREE at Home, PSG?!! Barca END It!
There I was going out on a dumb limb to give PSG a surprising win. Haha, I really look foolish now.
I thought at least there would be a second leg to address, but....THREE?!!!!! At the cribb?!!! Hahahaha!!!
Okay, so you are missing some players, does that mean that you go ahead and just play the same exact way? If a player is being ineffective, do you still keep him on the field? How many times have Cavani and Lavezzi been pretty much useless for PSG in these kinds of matches?
Maybe Blanc knows more than us, because with Barcelona coming all the way to France, jet-lag and all that, and keeping the ball like they were in their backyard, surely Blanc would have tried to change it up and offer something different. One team looked and played more prepared with a better gameplan whilst the other just looked clueless with no real confidence in even creating a proper chance...let along coming close to a goal.
So maybe Chelsea ain't that great. Perhaps Barcelona would have fried their ass up, maybe. But it IS Mourinho, who is the master of shutting down the strengths of teams. Blanc is just Blanc, and can you now see why I give the Chelsea victory to the players and not this dude? He has never been that great a manager and yeah, you can say Luiz was at fault, but if he was not fully fit, is there any harm with getting more bodies in midfield and playing with three at the back?
Barcelona just look like a team that can win this. As a whole, they are not that great. Iniesta's hair and
body are both falling down as age has caught up with him, and the defence and midfield do their job but they are not what you would actually dub as being elite. When you have a front three that can score whenever and however they want, then you are in an excellent position to win any competition.
It's yet another exit for PSG, and yet another year where so much potential for such a talented team is unfulfilled.
For how long the powers will stick with Blanc and not a more tactical and motivational manager, is something we must wait and see. And Barcelona roll onto the semis, and I look at the landscape and it is looking VERY promising for the Barca boys.HH
