Cantona is not crazy...only half crazy maybe. In a way, he is right that Pastore is the best in the world, and for PSG to beat Barcelona, the Argentine magical kid will be VERY important.
I believe in dribblers. That is how you break up a tight game, and how to make things happen. Because, and I have said this many times, you CAN'T just keep on passing and passing, hoping that you will eventually find that through ball or bit of space or hope for some lapse in concentration from your opponent.
Pastore is south-american. That is a very important concept that y'all need to understand. Guys from that neighbourhood play football with a very different psychology. So rather than looking for the easy pass first, they want to move with the ball, they want that lob over the defender to give the service to the striker. Their football is based more on sexual moves rather than mechanical operation.
Kid is young and he may not yet be on Messi's level, but he is a different player. As amazing as Lionel Ritchie is, he is tactical, and can be a slave to strategy. Pastore is a guy from the streets who just does his thing and is not restricted by a role or a formation. Give him the ball and he will just play and he has the confident to take on players, use the outside of his foot and be really inventive and imaginative with the ball, which is what I look for.
And if Blanc decides not to start with him....I'm taking a first class flight to Paris.HH
