Champions League- Allegri will Need DIVINITY to knock out Madrid without Pogba

Man. Won't be easy. With Paul Pogba and a full strength team, I would have given Juventus a pretty good chance against Madrid. But now hearing that Paul is out, and Real and Cristina looking strong, Allegri will have to pull out all the stops to get Juventus through.

What Juve suffer from is the same as Bayern. Chelsea, Barcelona and Madrid have the benefit of a competitive league that keeps them on their toes. But Juventus and Bayern pretty much win their league before the first ball of the season is KICKED. And that is a fact. So when it comes to now taking things to the next level in the Champions League, Juventus and Bayern will find it harder.

This is going to be Juve's hardest match of the entire season. It is the holders, a team with a goal machine, an elite coach and a club looking to create history. Allegri is leading Juventus to an area they have not entered for over a decade. Whilst Madrid were in and out of Champions League semis in the past years, Juventus were scrambling to get themselves in order. Now they are back, and Allegri has the opportunity to further erase the debacle at Milan if he can somehow plot the downfall of the dudes in white.

Defence must be where it starts. Stopping Cristina and taking him out of the game. There also has to be a strong midfield presence and workrate which is what they lose with no Pogba. If they can control the midfield and not allow Madrid to get their passes and control going, Juve are looking good. And then, it is getting the ball to Morata and Tevez.

I have faith in Tevez to score against anybody because if you gave him two thousand years, who won't be able to spell "nerves." Allegri has to keep it very water-tight at the back and try and get those few chances. Because it is inevitable that Cristina will get that away goal, so Juventus NEED some g's at home and the only way that can happen is Vidal and Pirlo really getting right up in the mix and use their great passing to unleash quick attacks when Madrid are thin at the back.

Juventus are overwhelming underdogs. Their two best players are well over thirty and they are going up against the money-men. It's hard to see how Juventus will win, but once you cross that white line and the whistle blows, all the hype and talk goes out the window. It is now man versus man and about getting it done ON the pitch.
