Kaka in Brazil Squad....but no Ronaldinho??!!!

Sad. It is truly sad how Dunga has continually shunned the greatness of Dinho and has always seemed to opt for the overrated one known as Kaka. Yep, the same Kaka who flopped both at 2006 and especially at 2010 where he was supposed to be the main superstar.

After the 7-1 rebirth, it will be a very long and hard healing process for Brazil. It won't go away easy as THAT scoreline will forever live in the memory of sport. But to try and move on from that, Brazil have to do different things but without losing their identity and focus. Because idiots would say the reason they lost is because joga bonito is dead and they need to be more "German" and "European".

Errrr....two things:

Firstly, Brazil still made it to the semis and were in the top four. So it was an improvement on 2010. Secondly and far more importantly, Brazil had the worst squad I've ever seen for a World Cup. They sucked and it was an insult for them to follow in the footsteps of Ronaldo, Romario, Rivaldo, Cafu, Robby Carlos and so on. That is why when they turned to Dunga, I shook my head and laughed. Dunga is not the answer and is merely a bandage on a deep wound that will continue to bleed through until you perform proper surgery on it.

Kaka has never and will never be in Ronaldinho's class. Kaka was very good in his prime, but Dinho redefined football when he was at his height and many, including myself, would argue he is one of the greatest to ever step on a football pitch. So if you are thinking of brining in a veteran to inspire the Neymar and Firmino kids, it would be Dinho and no Kaka. That is the call to make, but coaches have their favorites. I mean, Amodu somehow had Yakubu as someone he liked...which gives me nightmares. To me, that is a very unprofessional way of coaching. You don't put on players you like on a team, you play those who are the best and will give you the best chance of winning. Oh, and isn't Kaka now playing in the States? Which is pretty much a retirement home for players of his age.

I had a very small dream of seeing one of my favourite players don on the yellow jersey for one last time, but alas, an idiot is in charge and somehow KAKA has now been picked ahead of him. I think we can also agree that the Mexican league is of a higher quality than what you get in the MLS.

Pissed off.
