I really don't get why some footballers would open their mouth and just come out with such nonsense. Dante is now the next in a long list of footballers who doesn't appreciate the position they are in. By him coming out and saying he would love to play for Chelsea, that is disrespecting the chance that Wolfsburg gave to him when Bayern tossed him away like rubbish.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Wolfsburg are in the Champions League with a good chance of making it through. They are also right in the top-four fight in the Bundesliga, and they are considered one of the best teams in Germany. Oh, but I forgot, they are not a "big" club, so all of that is pretty much irrelevant to a player like Dante who believes that he is of a standard that is much higher than that of Wolfsburg.
Hecking and those in the management positions of the club can't be happy with this kind of comment. They should remind Dante that he may be a good defender, but he's not a great one. He has made many costly mistakes and is not a player that you can rely on to stay at full concentration for a whole match. So he should get a reality check and appreciate the fact that he is at a very competitive club that are a few signatures away from really having to be taken seriously. And I think Dante needs to put on some glasses and look at where Chelsea are in the league table.
