Emenike to West Ham on Loan...Good Move by Bilic

This has been a very good season for West Ham. One of the best that they've had in a really long time. Sitting just outside that top four, playing good football and with one of the best performers of the season on their team, things are looking good for the cockney-speaking folk.

Now comes the crunch time, and we find out what West Ham can really do. It's during these months where the weak can fall away, and those key injuries can come and haunt you in the ass. Those teams with a thin squad are the ones that will suffer during these months, as fatigue and suspensions come into play. So it is wise that the very Eastern-European looking Bilic, wants to bring in some players this month.

Going for Emenike, is a really wise move and I think he's the kind of player that could work well in the team. The Nigerian is a tough forward like his almost-namesake Amunike, with that bulldog tenacity about him like Tevez, and he knows how to get all kinds of goals. He was one of the players of the tournament when Nigeria won the Nations Cup, and I for one would be happy to see him in the league, so that Mikel isn't the only Nigerian starter.

I am not  Mikel fan, in case you were wondering.

Emenike has been a player like a few Nigerians down the years who have messed up their career by opting to play for clubs out in the colder regions of Europe. Think of what Aghahowa could have been if he'd moved to the Premiership sooner. Emenike is approaching 30 now, so his peak may be waning, but he has some good years left. If he can make this move, hit those goals and really work well with West Ham, then hopefully the loan can turn into a purchase. Especially if he helps the team get in the top six, or even...maybe....they couldn't.

Could they?
