Should Messi Bust his Balls for Barca or save up for Argentina?

So, the Argentine hobbit has made his return and all those who thought he would need a few games to get back into the swing of things, have forgotten the bullshit league that he plays in. Messi is scoring and with Barcelona not looking as legit as years gone by, they are NEEDING HIM EVEN MORE TO SHINE. BUT, should Messi go all out to send Barcelona back to the top again...or should he really use this as a stepping stone for the greatest tournament in history in the summer?

It's called the World Cup and Argentina EXPECTS. They don't give a shit how many times he wins titles for Barcelona. His country WANT THAT CUP and as Oscar said in an interview, THERE IS NO WAY IN THREE HELLS OF ARGENTINA WINNING IN THEIR COMPOUND. That is why Messi has to make this his cup, and which is why expending all his efforts for Barcelona is futile...he's been there, he's done that, and it will too much of an ask for him to bust his balls against the red machine of Bayern. All that matters and that is left to conquer is that World Cup...and he will need MATCH FITNESS not FATIGUE to really be at his best and put himself in the best position to really issue damage.

Argentina expects, and they are waiting for that third trophy. For all the preaching of Messi being one of the greatest ever, Argentines will not DARE put him on the same level as Diego who delivered that all important cup.
Lionel has talked about his dreams of winning it, and that MIGHT and I HOPE may be the reason why he looks bored playing for Barcelona. He knows there is nothing more for him to prove on that level and this generation of Barcelona have done all to show they are one of the great teams in history.
All eyes now turn to that World Cup, and Messi needs these games in the run-in to PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE keep fit and not get injured and really find his very best form. Because that injury may have been a blessing, giving him that freshness and now allowing him to come back in...hungry as ever.
It's only a few months away, and Messi has to be cautious with his body, and get himself in the best possible condition physically and mentally to put that final dot in what would be the DEFINITIVE footballing career.

The World Awaits.
