BAYERN Are the New Kings In Town...GET USED TO IT! But Remember Who BUILT This Machine....

This was over a LONG time ago. I think as someone commented, when Bayern sliced up Dortmund 3-0, that was that. The ONLY team that could touch them were Klopp's people, and when you just saw how higher Bayern had become with Dortmund not yet recovering from losing Gotze, it was done. But with Bayern winning the league with such ease, I think all can agree that we are seeing a new dominant era and it's red and white....

It all started with Heynckes. He got the ball rolling and began this project. Pep took over the very core and just improved it.

This began when Dortmund were the new exciting kids on the block. Sahin, Gotze, Kagawa, Lewandowski were showing an exciting brand of attacking football that Bayern could not compete against. But all great work takes time and has setbacks. Bayern were coming close in the Champions League, but came up short against Inter in that crazy match and in the final against Drogba and Chelsea. But they were getting closer and closer to the perfection Heynckes was looking for. Finally, getting the important piece of Martinez and having his team playing the methodical robust way, they conducted the DEATH of tookie-likkie and finally came over their young, fast, exciting rivals in the league, German Cup and in the Champions League final. Thus, a new era was born.

Pep came in and already had a very well-oiled machine running, a masterpiece. What he did was just improve upon that masterpiece to shore up any holes or leaks. Thiago and Gotze have both brought even greater creativity to the team, and those additions have just made them unstoppable this season. Teams have had chances to beat them, they have not always had their way...but with SO MANY pieces that can kill you, the inevitable usually ends up happening with Bayern coming off as deserved winners.

That is what will scare their competition. Bayern are not only winning games, they are DESERVING of their victories. Their mastery has become too much for others to compete against, and let me tell you....unless a rich tycoon buys a Bundesliga club, we are going to be seeing AT LEAST a three year total domination of Bayern. They are simply too good for their opposition, and they evoke the same dominance both at HOME and AWAY.

All that is left at home is to finish off the season unbeaten and take home the German cup. Both are very likely and would gladly put money down on both instances happening. The real question is that Champions League where they WILL face MUCH better teams and will be FAR MORE tested than they have been in the Bundesliga.

Just don't forget who started this ball rolling. Pep must take some credit for raising the level of this team and making them even stronger. But it was Heynckes that severed the head of Barcelona and it was he who showed the world that the OLD-SKOOL way of pragmatic football with a strong ROBUST squad IS the way to really dominate in the sport of football.
