Does Pellegrini Have What it Takes to Bring City Back After Wigan Shock? Erm...not sure....

Well....THAT was not supposed to happen. At the VERY least, I would have thought Arsenal would have risen above their big-game chumpness and beaten City in the semis. For City to lose to Wigan TWICE, with the second time being a lot worse as Wigan are in a lower division. The question now arises of if City have the balls and the mentality to win those games in hand and bring it all back against Barcelona on Wednesday.

It all starts against Barcelona at the Nou Camp and all about scoring early and somehow driving down on a Barca team that are not doing too good; Valladolid????
Chances are, Barcelona will hold onto their turf, will have a few scares, but will have enough to beat City and go on and get spanked and beat-up by Bayern if they meet them.
IF Pellegrini has something up his sleeve and actually has something in store for Barcelona and can unleash the BEST out of Aguero, then that will give them the extra zest for part two of the RECOVERY PLAN.

Three games in hand. ONE LOSS or ONE DRAW and it's advantage to Chelsea and Liverpool. Beating Barcelona on Wednesday would quickly wipe away the Wigan disappointment and allow them to do the business against those that stand in their path in the league. But there is that one tricky tie against United and can you now see why Mata moving to United was a masterstroke by Mourinho? As crap as United are....that MAY just be a game they may slip up in as Moyes still hopes for the miracle of all miracles in getting that fourth spot. So that really is the key match, but as Wigan and other "lesser" teams have shown, City seem to like losing to much worse teams. If Wigan can do it, why can't Sunderland do it?

Why was Pellegrini wearing a hoodie for the Wigan game? Just dawned on me that maybe that was a bad luck charm. But carrying on, it's going to be a very important few weeks for City. They ARE still in the driving seat in the Premiership if they win those games in hand, and a two-goal deficit has been overcome many times before, but it could all end up in a very bad state if Barcelona do their bit and City slip up. It's going to be about Pellegrini getting Kompany, Yaya Toure, Aguero playing to their best and inspiring the others. AND FOR GOODNESS SAKE, CAN DEMICHELIS PLEASE STOP FUCKING STARTING IN DEFENCE????!!!!!!!!!!!!
