How far can Diego THE DRUG KINGPIN Simeone take his Ateltico Boys?

Well, they thought they would not last this long in La Liga...but Atletico are the ones in second and Barcelona in third. As bad as Milan have been, they thought the experience would beat the inexperienced....we all know how that second leg ended. So, the question remains...HOW FAR CAN THE DRUG CARTEL PUSHER TAKE HIS KIDS?

What has made Atletico so good have been their organization, consistency and DISCIPLINE instilled by the former Argentine midfield powerhouse of Simeone. They are not very flashy, don't have the most impressive attacking football on display...but from watching them, I just love their business-style way of going about their game. They just DO THE FUCKING WORK. You can see Simeone has forced in that mentality of just winning in their minds, and that is why they have been able to last the distance for this long in a league that was SUPPOSED to feature only two teams.

Every team that seeks to win a league need a striker. Roma.....Arsenal...are you listening? YOU NEED A DAMN STRIKER TO WIN A LEAGUE. Atletico, with all they have in their team, they have that frontman who is BUILT to score goals.
Apart from betraying his own country, Diego Costa is what you call a GOOD OLD STRIKER. No flash, just the ability to FINISH. That has been one of the main reasons why Atletico have been doing so well. Simeone identified the NEED for a man to have only ONE function, and that is to score goals. Nothing more nothing less. That's what Costa is, and with him being on the pitch SCORING GOALS...and not really much else, Atletico will be with Real all the way to the end of this very unusually entertaining La Liga.

Finally, we have a player who has always been lurking around as a good player(anyone in my Football Manager team IS amazing). Turan is that brain and creativity that Simeone will need to really be the one to open up those defences and add that magic to the team.
His goal against Milan showed what he can do, when he is NOT assisting. If Atletico end up with nothing this season which is likely, Turan is one of those players who really DESERVES to be in a bigger club. But then, Atletico are VERY much still in the title race and they are not YET out of the Champions League....

There's a good chance that Atletico will end up with nothing. Real just have two mad goalscorers and Bayern are a damn machine that just cannot be stopped at the moment. But this is football, and Atletico have the setup to shock everyone and win La Liga.....and if Porto could win that Champions League then the drug kingpin can inspire his boys to do so....
