A Striker Must RISE for Chelsea to Beat PSG

Chelsea won't go through without a striker. That's a FACT....jack (as the Ninja Turtles would say). Nope, not happening. Against a team as good as PSG, Chelsea HAVE to come with a striker who knows what he's doing, can be involved in the play and can cause Thiago Silva and pals, problems.

Sammy Eto'o has only shown FLASHES of what he can do. Simply, he's not been consistent enough in being a man Mourinho can rely upon to be the main striker. Whether it was Drogba, Cristiano or Milito...Mourinho's system NEEDS a complete striker who works off the midfield work. Neither Blondie nor Eto'o have shown that consistency to be the driving force that Mourinho needs. But, if they are to go through....and Eto'o is picked as the man....HE NEEDS TO SHINE.

Eto'o has lost that sharpness. When he was at Inter, AFTER Mourinho left, he was at his deadliest. You give this man the ball in the eighteen-yard box, and more likely than not, he's going to put it away free-of-charge. There was just that movement he had that was just so quick, which made it very difficult for defenders to mark him. Now though, he's put on more weight, which means that his movement is more labored and heavier, and defenders can pick him up now more easily.

I have been saying this time and time again. The man that should have been leading the line for Chelsea all season is Schurrle.

He's younger, faster, quicker, more agile and has the most precise shot out of all the strikers that Chelsea have available to them. I just can't understand why Mourinho did not use him a lot more seeing how inconsistent Blondie and Eto'o have been.

For PSG, they will be coming to score and NOT just defend, so I am pretty sure Chelsea will need quite a few goals if they are to go through. My only advise for my boy Mourinho is to PLAY THE YOUNG GERMAN, AND TRUST HIM TO COME GOOD WHEN CHELSEA NEED IT THE MOST!
