No Wenger....just no. THIS MATCH is Arsenal's most important match since that dark day in 2011 when Martins scored the winner for Birmingham after a Koscelny mistake. This is a HUGE match for Arsenal and I am not even CONSIDERING loss for them...but IF they lose...there has to be SERIOUS repercussions.
It has been far too long for a club of Arsenal's standing to go WITHOUT a trophy. The misses, the shocks and just the embarrassing losses have been mounting. It seemed this would be yet another year of failure in the way they limped out of the league title race. BUT, the fates have been kind to Wenger, they have somehow avoided Chelsea, City and have a Final against the invincible...HULL CITY. This is pretty much a free hand to Wenger to finally get his hands on a trophy and I'm sorry...but Arsene CANNOT afford to fuck this up....no way no how.
May seem a bit harsh for everything to just rest on ONE game to determine a coach's future. And this comes from the man who has criticised managers for being sacked far too early. So you can understand Arsene for finding it baffling that people are linking his future of Arsenal with this FA Cup Final. But, Wenger must realize that this is a VERY important match. Arsenal, the fans, the club have waited for TOO long to finally get a major trophy. If they are to lose, the calls of CHOKERS and LOSERS will come again, and I really don't think Arsenal would be in a position to win another trophy in a long time. So yes Arsene, your job IS on the line here and you are responsible for getting the job done and stopping the RIDICULOUS trophy drought at Arsenal.
