The DFB Final We All Wanted...Dortmund vs Wolfsburg. Let's Roll!!

No offence to Bayern or...Bielefeld, but this the match we all wanted to see. The last entry in the Klopp chapter against the most entertaining team in the Bundesliga this year. We hope it lives up to the billing and caps off what has been a pretty exciting Bundesliga....in a way.

Wolfsburg are the stronger and better team. They have the G in De Freakin' Bruyyyyyyne, and their teamwork and strategy is superior to Dortmund's this season. So they are in the stronger position...but so were AC Milan in Istanbul....and that turned out really well for them in that Final. Suffice to say, the rules are completely different when we are talking a winner-takes-all final. The Klopp factor is also in the mix....and football does sometime like to have that story with the fitting end. And Jurgen does make for a cool looking storybook hero.

Dortmund have to play their perfect game. They have it in them, but they have rarely done so, hence where they found themselves at one point in the league. But when Klopp can get them playing that high energy attacking game, then they can overwhelm Wolfsburg defensively and in attack. When Dortmund, lead by Reus, keep the ball constantly moving forward and their passes find yellow and black, it's very difficult to defend against them. Two things....will they do that tonight and will Wolfsburg allow them?

Hecking (nice name) is confident that if they play their own game, the very shaky Subotic and horrendous Schmelzer can be exposed. If De Bruyyyyyyne is used well and is influential and allowed to move around with the ball, and get crosses in then it can be lights out for Dortmund. He will be the best player on that pitch, and the problem is Klopp ain't a Mourinho who will be able take a star player out of the game. But I'm afraid if Klopp does a Wengeritis and just plays his way with no plan for shutting down De Bruyne, then Wolfsburg will be cup champions. Dortmund don't have the quality to do a Wengeritis and win outright only playing their game.

Aubameyang is a wild card. He can either be very good or ineffective. He's never just useless and will always give something with his focused and direct way of playing. So if there's that really high line, one good pass from Reus or Gundogan can do some damage if Aubameyang can time that run well. But you need to give me more than a wildcard. And can't forget the other striker Dost who knows how to score and when you have the king of assists on your team....you have to be feeling very good about yourself.

I'm sticking with Wolfsburg. Head over heart. It would be quite an amazing end to one of the better stories in modern football if Dortmund can get that cheddar and win.

Whatever happens...football will miss Kloppo.
