Argentina are officially the BEST national team

No need to debate this. Nothing to talk about.

This Argentina team that have grown from Sabella's tutelage into Martino's pupils are the best national team there is. No other team are as complete, legit or talented and dangerous as these Argentines. Because Paraguay have shown they are not a team you easily smack around and bitch-slap. Unfortunately, Argentina disrespected that mantra and gave them a good hard spanking that they can't even be angry about.

Don't be fooled. How Argentina got to that World Cup final is beyond me. They had ONE single tough match before Germany, and even that went to penalties. Not once did they have what you would even hint at as a good performance. Messi got them out of trouble in the groups, and once he decided to disappear, they pretty much squeaked through. But this Argentina now with a fully fit Aguero, Otamendi, PASTORE and a Messi at the height of his magical powers have become the team that we all hoped they would be based off the ridiculous talent.

For a long time, Argentina were all about attack, and there is no other team that have a more lethal attack than them. Messi, Aguero, Pastore and Di Maria is enough to give you nightmares. But that defence is what really has made them complete. Let me repeat this again - MASCHERANO IS UNDERRATED. Messi may be the team's best player, but the heart and soul of it is Mascherano who tackles, hustles and dig deeps and does the dirty work that restricts any chances for the opposition.

If Argentina end up winning on Saturday, then nobody can argue about it. They have been the best team overall, and it would be criminal that a group so talented do not walk away with at least a Copa America. The World Cup is a whole other ball game that Europe look to have on serious lockdown.

What about Martino? From the flip-flop at Barcelona, to being the mastermind of a superb Argentine team. If he does lead his country to a Copa win, it would easily vindicate him from his failure at Barcelona and propel him to legendary status as the one who brought the Copa back to Argentina after twenty-two long ass years.

Ya....a lot is riding on Saturday, so there needs to be some deliverance happening.
