Roma Can Now Possibly be a Real Team with Dzeko and Salah

Maybe Garcia has actually been reading all the stuff that I've been posting all this time. For so long, I have talked about how all Roma need is a striker. I have been baffled and flabbergasted as to how any football team in any era can walk onto a football pitch and play without a recognized striker. Garcia did not listen and all he got were a bunch of annoying draws that played into Juventus's hands.

Now, if both Dzeko and Salah are to come in who are both very attacking players with one being a natural old-skool striker, then Allegri and Juventus should be very afraid because Roma may be a serious threat especially with Tevez leaving Juve for Argentina...it is possible that after four damn season there will be a set of new paws holding aloft that Italian Scudetto.

Salah, just like De Bruyne, was another of the Mourinho cast-aways. A player who for some reason was not allowed to flourish and show his talent. Then when he went to Fiorentina, I was left scratching my head as to how you let such an exciting player to leave. He showed amazing control and that forward-thinking psychology that I crave for any players on my team. With the way Roma play who are very attack-minded but lack that thrust and penetration, a player like Salah can really be able to break between those lines and find those on-twos that can offset a defence. It will be good to see how he links up with Florenzi and Pjanic, and how they can all combine to create chances with good runs, quick passing but also the ability to take dudes on that Salah has.

And then you have the Bosnian Dzeko....

Dzeko is one of those kinds of players who you need in your team, but should not define it. IN a world in which it is now a criminal offence to just be a striker, the very existence of Dzeko is quit an amazing thing to behold. And Roma NEED to have a striker. Just to even have the presence there, or someone to play off of,. Dzeko does not even need to bang in twenty g's. He can actually be able to create more chances for Roma by bringing other players into the game using the link-up play. Also, FINALLY, when Roma get to the wing and cross the ball....voila, there's actually a damn guy in the box who is actually a good header of the ball that can turn that cross into a goal. Roma will see the benefits from this, and should, I can almost guarantee, will restrict the ridiculous amount of draws that they had.

These are two very good signings that will help Roma and at last, instead of bitching and moaning about Garcia and calling for his sack, this is the first good thing he has done in two years. And when you look at who Juventus has brought in to try and offset the HUGE departures they had...Roma are looking like one of the most interesting teams in the Serie A, and should be the ones with the eyes on them rather than Inter.
