Aubameyang would be DYNAMITE for Arsenal and their Style
Rumor time!
Wenger may be in the hunt to add that extra little firepower to allow them to push ahead in their quest for the long awaited title. Giroud has been known to get a good amount of goals, but can't be relied upon to do so for an entire season, scoring when it counts. So Wenger may be looking to get someone alongside him to share the weight of goals.
Aubameyang is perfectly suited to Arsenal. He's a man of speed, but also knowing when to make the right runs. Think of it as Walcott, but with a much better eye-for goal and finishing. Him being on one wing and Theo the other, it would make Arsenal incredibly dangerous. But if you now think about when Sanchez comes into the mix, he would either take the place of the Ox or Walcott, or Wenger may alternated between him and Giroud.
Another option is playing two strikers. You have Giroud who holds up the ball and finishes from crosses in the box, and Aubameyang who sits a bit deeper and can pick balls off. But the only issue with that is he isn't very skillful or good with his feet. It would actually be an idea to play Ox as a second striker and move Aubameyang out wide where he is more natural and can do more damage becuase of the space he is afforded there.
The thing though is; do Arsenal need another wide man?
Walcott and the Ox do the job perfectly, and for some reason, Wenger has got it in his head that Joel Campbell and Ramsey are can play out on the wide. So in Wenger's thinking, they don't need another wide man, but for anyone who actually knows football, they actually do. Ramsey and Joel have no business playing out on the wide and they look uncomfortable when put there. Having Aubameyang play there will make Arsenal more dangerous because they will now have someone who knows how to operate in that position properly.
I would want the Gabonese man to remain at Dortmund. I like how the team is looking, and I see no reason for him to just pack up and leave. Tuchel has a good thing going and if they stay on track, they will be in the Champions League next season and would be in the position to do really well in it.
Probably better than the regulars, Arsenal.
