Sources close to the Hut say Barcelona are interested in inquiring about the services of Falcao. Yes, that same Falcao who has not been relevant in the past three to four years. The same one who wanders around the pitch like a lost orphan.
Barcelona already having the best attacking trio in the world, it is belived that Enrique wants a backup and alternative. He sees Falcao as very different to the three that he has, but knows that the Colombian gives his team that aerial threat which is what they miss when they are forced to cross the ball into the box. Falcao can offer that secondary option, to try and change the match.
The biggest question is after his failures at United and Chelsea, why on Earth would Enrique want to go for him?
Seems that Luis believes he can get the best out of Falco and return him to his winning ways. Looks like the one who wear huge wrist-watches can reach Falcao in ways that Van Gaal and Mourinho could not. If he was able to do so and somehow get Falcao firing up again, it would make Barcelona even more of a threat. If you think about it, having both the ground warfare skills of Messi, Neymar and the Cannibal as well as the potent striking abilities of that Atletico Madrid-era Falcao, would be very powerful.
Is this likely to happen? I doubt it, but an inquiry is believed to have been made by Barcelona....
