I really could not believe what I was reading. Higuain? And I believe Sanogo...ANOTHER French based player. It really seems that Wenger is happy with mediocrity. Is this really the same manager that headed the INVINCIBLES?
Higuain is not that great a player. He is still shockingly pretty young, but his best days when he first came into Madrid, seem to have left him. Yes, he is an upgrade from Giroud, but with the likes of Aguero, Van Persie and Ba, it seems that Wenger has not really chosen someone to match the competition.
This coming season I feel HAS TO BE D-DAY or D-SEASON (ha...d season) for Wenger to finally deliver a damn trophy. Hence why his transfer activity is going to be so damn important. If they do close the deal on Higuain and the man from Argentina continues to miss the numerous one-on-ones that I have seen him miss in the past few seasons...can Wenger finally just call it a day and bring in a coach who can actually take Arsenal back to their rightful place?
