The Rooney...Saga.....

Is he staying...is he going...is he this...is he that.....TOO MUCH SPECULATION. It now seems that Moyes has convinced him to stay but I feel that this will be a detriment to Rooney's career instead of it harming United's attacking options.

This is the second time that Rooney has handed in this request, and TWO TIMES, is enough to know that this man does not want to be at this club. Sure, he'll still have good games but his heart won't be in it and deep down, Wayne knows that he is entering into that delicate time of his career where he can really evolve into a better player that can do damage internationally. But will that happen under Moyes at United?

Yes, Moyes had Rooney before and was the one to bring him into the fray. That was probably the reason why Rooney stayed based on the past relationship he had with Moyes. Thing is though, can you really say Moyes is on the same level as Conte, Ancelotti or Klopp?

I have put out my advice out there and I think it is something Wayne should listen to. He has to leave United and move ABROAD in order to further his career and really fulfil his potential. All we have now is decent striker who really can't do it on the international stage and without much in his arsenal. We did see what he was capable of doing with his goal against Brasil, but he can learn so much more. There just seems to be a limitation in what he can do once he gets the ball and EVEN finding space in more imaginative ways. These are things he can learn under Conte, Mazzari, Klopp and Ancelotti. If there really is a club that keeps coming to mind....with Higuain looking set to join Arsenal....Madrid may really be the right destination for Rooney to go and really try and improve as a player. I fear, with the competition of Hernandez, Welbeck and RVP....Rooney may be struggling to hold down a first-team spot in a striking position.
