Nigeria MUST WIN in Ethiopia....nothing else.

This could be where this tie is won or lost. THIS is the crucial match. If Ethiopia can get a win or a draw, then they are playing with as they call it..."house money". They go to Abuja, and all the pressure is on Nigeria, and all they need is to frustrate them and STEAL THAT G from a counter attack. That is why Keshi has to know that Nigeria have to come away with a victory, so they are in the lead when they play the return in Abuja. There can be no talk of getting a draw and avoiding a loss. They have to treat it as a one-off tie, because this is still a young team that may have too much pressure on their shoulders if they play before the VERY EXPECTANT Nigerian crowd with the tie in the balance.

I may talk about this more at length, but I don't know why Enyeama is not the official captain. All of this stand-in nonsense is nonsensical. Anyway, it starts with him. As the one with the armband, he leads the prayer and must be the one to rally the troops and make sure that they get the job done in Ethiopia. What he says just before the match and at half time is just as important as what Keshi says. And it is the duty of Keshi to let Enyeama know that he is the LEADER ON THE PITCH. They have to go in with ten times as much passion and focus than Ethiopia and through that, their superior skill should see them over the finish line.

More thoughts will follow in the pre match video, but this has to just get put out there. This is a very tricky match, and the Eagles have to be fully professional. THIS IS THE MATCH. THIS IS THE FINAL. They cannot under ANY circumstance come back to Abuja or Calabar with a draw...and a loss would be disastrous. I don't give THREE PIGEONS about the home record. Records are made to be broken, and in football...ANYTHING can happen. So, Nigeria have to aim to win BOTH games, and see this very tricky tie out. Ethiopia will have a trick up their sleeves....don't you worry about that...
