Rooney Still Wants Out of United??? Really???.....ARSENAL??!!!

Well...it could be one of the most shocking images in recent times. Right off the rumor mill...Rooney STILL SAYS NAWWWWWW, to a new contract. And there seems to be speculation that Arsenal may be inclined to go in for him..if they can meet his utterly stupendous wage contract. Forget about the cash for a second. I HIGHLY doubt that this will be the case...I just can't see United ever in any stratosphere giving Rooney away to a rival....a TITLE rival. However, what does this really say about the relationship between Moyes and Rooney?

My personal thoughts on this really is simple...Rooney is being very coy about this, but he really wants to leave United. He can see this is not the same great club as it was with Ferguson, who had his own issues with him. So, he is very carefully, planning his route away to a bigger club where he can be the main man. But the KEY WORD here is his CARE. There would be no point if he was to say in the press conference that he wants to go. That's just not cool, and builds an unwanted aura around the club. The best route really to take is to bide his time, and make sure that when he decides to move...he MOVES, and does not turn back. The worst thing that could happen is if he is on his way, packs his bags and bid farewell...then the move breaks down. Could the United fans really take him back YET AGAIN?

Let's just play a What If game for fun. Now, if Rooney moved to Arsenal in January, then it's very simple what would happen. Arsenal would finally get their trophy and perhaps another, whilst United would end up EMPTY...without nothing. Not even the great, legendary and mythological Januzaj with all the power in the world would be able to save them. That's what would happen folks. But in reality....IT AIN'T HAPPENING SO STOP DREAMING AND WAKE UP...like Neo.

I want to see how it plays out. Rumors are just rumors. But I do believe that Rooney has not signed a new contract. For someone who is really now in that prime age, it would not make much sense being tied down to a club that is unsure of its direction. Wayne wants to keep those options open...and who knows...he may see the inclusion of Ozil and the football that Arsenal are playing....and London is far cooler than Manchester....so hey, he might make that trip.......naaaaaaaaah.
