Should Hodgson and England be under any Pressure tonight against Poland?

So they are building up the match. Yet again, the Three Lions find themselves in a crunch encounter against Poland on their home turf. THEY BETTER NOT THINK ABOUT GETTING A DRAW with what should be the eventuality of Ukraine beating San Marino. So England need to go out and win this game. But just like Croatia all those years ago where they failed to make the Euros....pressure can do things to you.

Look, I have no doubt England will win this. Lewandowski is out and out Poland's ONLY REAL THREAT. But with England's tough defenders and Hodgson knowing how to position his players well defensively...then I will be surprised if Poland find the net. However, the nerves will be there of the VERY SMALL POSSIBILITY of going to the playoffs.

The worst thing England can do is let nerves get the better of them. They NEVER do well when they put unnecessary pressure on themselves. If they go out and just take it as another important game, then there will be very little issue in them winning the game substantially. So that is what Hodgson needs to do. Block the noise, and let them just show that they are the stronger team playing against a team that have done WORSE than Montenegro who they just beat 4-1.

I expect England to win this in a straightforward manner. Yes, the papers will be hyping and they will know of how they have failed at these matches before. But I just believe that there may be some nerves BEFORE they score...but once they get the goal, then they can start preparing their bags for Brazil next year. Now, how they perform in Brazil in what should have been an easy group is a longer and more drawn out discussion. But here it is, Hodgson just needs to put the team out and put in a big performance. That Montenegro match was not just about the WIN but also proving to people that he is not just the conservative safe manager. He needs to show that again tonight. They need to play freely and show again that this England team CAN play and has some very interesting players. So..lets see what these Lions do?
