ARTURO "THE CHILEAN BULLDOG ARTIST" VIDAL gets HAT TRICK
Juventus had to win. Pressure was on them. They went into the lead through Vidal, and Copenhagen came back. Was this going to be another barrage of chances with the score ending as a draw? VIDAL SAID HELLL NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. He stepped up to slot away the second penalty....and then...that goal...which was damn good. Vidal showed why he is one of the ELITE central midfielders in the world.
Vidal is one of the first players I have in my team. He has ALL THE QUALITIES that I want in my central midfield. He hustles, fights and thugs out. His passing is crisp, whether short or long and can use both feet. The way in which he runs with the ball means he is aware of ALL the areas of the pitch and can find the BEST pass. In addition, which takes him above many others, he has a great attacking quality and can offer you A LOT when going forward. Take away his two penalties that shows he has balls and nerves of steel; it was that third goal that makes him such a player. The goal was similar to Peralta's for Mexico, and I talked about how difficult a goal that is to pull off. Having to head it from so far out and direct it into the far side of the goal is tricky. Vidal timed his run well and executed the header to PURRRFECTION.
Not a lot is said about him, perhaps because the Serie A is still shunned because of all the allegations. I talk real and I give it to you straight. Since seeing him at the Copa America and now for Juventus, I have just been very impressed with how gifted he is with two feet and how he can get dirty and can also produce quality. There is nothing more you can ask for the most difficult position in football.
For Juventus to finally gain the grand club prize, Vidal HAS to play. Pirlo is obviously the main man, and Juventus should not bother turning up without him. However, when you look at that second leg against Bayern, where Vidal was missing...you could really see a gaping hole in the team. He is very much a big part of Juventus and this hat-trick showed just how huge his contribution is to the team.
Here's hoping he is fit for next summer and he can also surprise all by taking Chile further than most expect, with the help of his homie Alexis.
