Gotze FINALLY has to make his return againt Dortmund

It's got to always happen. Figo did it, and he got a pig's head for his troubles. For Mario, he will know what kind of reaction he will get and by all means, he deserves it. As this big match approaches, I am just reminded of the cruelty of modern football and how competition is slowly dwindling away, with the mighty dollar, pound and euro pushing out the little guy.

I will never understand why Gotze left. Klopp is a great coach, Dortmund is a great club, Dortmund's style fits Gotze.....and....I believe they were Champions League finalists? Who did not get pimped out by Bayern like the other "bigger" clubs did. So why the hell would Gotze leave?
It's a lack of understanding and education. These players are sheep and they just want to be part of the "biggest" teams that the media hype up. They would rather be given medals rather than EARNING them. It is the way of many young talents who just want to join the biggest teams, rather than those that are better suited to their styles and would help them grow.
Fact of the matter, Gotze wear red now and not yellow. When he returns, I expect and assume Bayern to win the match, but would that now prove Gotze's move to be right? Yes and no.

Yes, Gotze would say that he is now moving to a club that is far better equipped to win any damn tournament. It will ensure that he is ALWAYS playing at major matches whereas Dortmund are finding it hard to even get out of their group now. So sure, Mario will say he can now prove why he is one of the best in the world by being part of a club that will for the foreseeable future put him on the biggest platform.

But will Gotze always be a starter? Is Gotze suited to a PASS FIRST system? What happens when Pep finds someone better and he has no time for Gotze to get back to form? It may happen. Then and only then, IF it happens, Gotze will perhaps appreciate a club that would always put him and his style right at the top of that team sheet. There is something to being at a club for a long time and loved. Henry realized that when he left Arsenal for Barcelona. Once he came back for a cameo, and saw the love, he realized how much it means to be PART of a club. It's why I would advise Reus to sleep at the club along with Hummels. If they stay, through all the hard times, and keep playing well, then they will be legends. I can put money and cash down that Gotze won't go down as a legend for Bayern. He won't be like Bart Simpson who already will be having a golden statue made of him once he retires. Bayern are a machine, a very scary one, and that machine is getting larger with the focus on creating a dynasty. Dortmund are more like a family. They are smaller and therefore can have a lot more love for their players. For me, I love Bayern's play and how COMPLETE their squad is...but I like the little guy and the more intimate family setting. It may not seem "cool" now, but as the years roll past and Gotze get older...everyone needs a bit of that true love.

Eventually, these kids will learn in the long run...
