Pep looking for revenge, and more Daylight at top of Bundesliga

When Pep first faced Dortmund in the German Super Cup, he wanted to start with a bang and show that he could dominate a team that Bayern ALWAYS have problems with, bringing in his own philosophy of possession football. Unfortunately, it ended badly with Gundogan putting in a man-of-the-match performance. Pep experienced the fast and direct attacking football that exposed Bayern, and is hoping to put things right. He NEEDS this victory, for several reasons....

Dortmund, surprisingly, have been the one team to show Bayern are somewhat mortal. EVERY other team have gotten shanked by Bayern. Beat down, and mocked. It has only been Klopp's men that have really given them troubles. Even though Heynckes managed to beat Dortmund, they were still close matches with only A GOAL in it.
So, as Pep plays catchup to the incredible Jupp, if he can dominate and heftily and convincingly beat Dortmund, then Guardiola may prove that he is somehow improving an already perfect Bayern team. That is why this match is so important. Bayern have been great so far, with only a few hiccups. They still have not lost a game yet, and have put in one of the best team performances where they went to Manchester and pretty much toyed with City and made them look like children. But this is the one monkey that won't refuse to get off Bayern's back. Dortmund may be weaker with them dropping points and pretty much handing the title to Bayern, but Pep will know of that Super Cup match. He must address the way he sets up his defence and how he can stop Dortmund from playing their game effectively. Watching some of Bayern's matches, and seeing the chances the weaker teams get, Pep will KNOW that if any of those chances falls to Lewandowski, Reus or Mkhitaryan....then it should result in a goal. Can't let that happen.

Bayern should win this football match. They are the best football club in the world right now, and their squad is incredible. Dortmund have only gotten weaker losing Gotze, and I just don't see how Dortmund can win this. I expect it to be close and exciting, but ultimately, Bayern will win. The question though, is just HOW will Bayern win this titanic football encounter.....
