Player Hustle - Chicharito AND the need to Move!

Remember when Chicharito came to United and he was big news? When he was Mexico's golden boy? And that amazing consolation goal he scored against Argentina at the World Cup? Well...that seems like three thousand years ago. Hernandez has made his bed with breakfast and tea on the United bench and only comes off it when Van Persie or Rooney are injured. Fact is, if he actually wants to GET THE HELL up from that bench, he needs to get moving. Before that, let HH break down what this kid's got.

Hernandez is one of the best off-the-ball runners out there. Most of his goals are due to his amazing movement and the way he can get round defenders. The times that he has come off the bench and gotten on the end of a cross, has been numerous. It's his strength. So a team that has a great creative player or two great wingers would bring out the best of Hernandez.
He's not one to score sixty yard smackers, and does not have a great dribbling skill to get past defenders on his own. Also, with all these teams loving their one man attacking systems should opt against getting Hernandez. The kid does not have the strength to hold up the ball and operate on his lonesome in attack. He is far more ideal operating off another striker or within a diamond attack. A faster paced team that are direct work best for him, just like how Mexico and Mexicans play.

So now you have to think of the teams he can play for. There really is only one team out there for Chicharito and we all know who they are. DORTMUND should be the team that Hernandez does all he can to join in January. The way in which they play and how quick they are would be perfect for Hernandez. He is not a replacement for Lewandowski, but being the third cog in the attacking key alongside Reus and Robert L would work. The way in which Dortmund are constantly playing passes into the danger area into feet would make Chicharito very happy. For a man who is always looking to get into space, if he can be fed by Reus into the danger box then you can expect my Mexican brother to put the ball away. I can really see Hernandez, with the way Klopp's boys play that high energy game and are constantly running, would be a perfect system for Chicharito to flourish.

A decision needs to be made. The longer that Hernandez remains on the bench, the worse he will get and the less likely Herrera will pick him to start at the World Cup. Chicharito must realize NOW that if he misses out being part of the starting lineup in Brazil next year would be a DISASTER. He will only have himself to blame if it happens. Dortmund are in need of recruits, are one of the best teams out there and it's a system that fits him far more than anywhere else. Although Dortmund don't make great use of their wingers, because they don't have any, they are very much a team that pride themselves on guys finding spaces. You have to wonder how they always manage to find those difficult passes, that's because of how hard Klopp works his men on running OFF THE BALL. So if you have a guy who gets most of his goals by finding spaces defenders are too slow to see, then it should be a match made only in heaven. Should be....
