RISE....Sir Aaron Ramsey
Mr. Ramsey, your job ain't done yet. As well as Ramsey has played, I know that the boy has character. And I know he wants to push himself further. I know....Ramsey wants to be the unlikely STAR man of Arsenal. What do Star Men do? They get it done in the BIGGEST matches. This is the perfect stage for Ramsey...again....to show how important he is to Arsenal.
Ramsey has had a crazy season so far. Yes, he has scored all those goals...but it's his performances. Cristiano scores goals...then does nothing for the rest of the match. Ramsey scores, dribbles, tackles, passes and is involved in almost all of Arsenal's play. His contribution to Arsenal so far has been utterly outstanding. There are worries that this may just be a flash in the pan...a one-off. So, it's up to you Aaron to prove the doubters wrong and not only keep playing well, but raise the level of your game. Just like Henry did, Ramsey MUST play well against Arsenal's second most hated team...United.
The red of Manchester are rattled. They have not been playing well and are just coming from drawing a match with a missed penalty. It's the perfect time for Arsenal to add salt to the wound, and for Ramsey to rise to the occasion. Because this IS the one Arsenal really want to win. You have the North London derby that is just a traditional rivalry, but THIS is the match for champions and the big boys. Spurs are not in contention to win the league at all. But United are the team with the history and the honors. So the fans know it's a game that Arsenal must win to FURTHER prove that they mean business.
It all now falls to Ramsey to again lead the team. That has been what's been so incredible. Last season, Ramsey was a bit player....a squad player. Now, after a shot of speed and cocaine, he is the HEART of the team. If Ramsey plays well today and gets involved, I will put money down on Arsenal winning. That is just how influential he can be. He is at the center of everything good Arsenal do, and he now knows he can cause damage in the penalty box. THAT is where United are weakest. That defence has seemed shaky and not resolute, unlike Arsenal's. It is the perfect opportunity for Ramsey to take the game to United, and try shots, make runs and cause havok.
Your job is not yet done Sir Ramsey. THIS is the big game....and all big game need a big performance.
