This IS the match to Change things for Moyes

United are under pressure. Worst start to the season. Getting beat up by....West Brom. Their fortress is now a playground for kids to come and mock them. If ever there was a win that Moyes needed...it was THIS one. Moyes knows deep down that if United can clip Arsenal's wings, a surge of confidence will ripple through. United's chest will pump out and he can perhaps reignite the lethal winning mentality United have.

I have been hearing from some circles that Moyes will be out looking to AVOID defeat. Yeah. Let me just say this right now, and I hope Moyes listens: ARSENAL ARE GOING TO OLD TRAFFORD TO WIN. Now, once Moyes realizes that, he must surely know that playing for a draw will only result in disaster. He has no choice but to employ a strategy to ensure a win on their home patch.

Forget about the mathematics, because United winning this will take them right back into the mix with Spurs, Chelsea and Everton not taking full cheddar. I want to look more at the psychological aspect. Because we look at the old guard of Rio, Nemanja, Ryan, Wayne who have been with United through many Arsenal games. They KNOW how important this game is. I cannot stress of the mental implications this could do to United if they lose at home...to Arsenal. It's not worth thinking about.

But this is a lifeline for Moyes. He wins this, the doubters in Manchester suddenly will get behind him. The players on the fringe of his methods will give him a chance. For Moyes, it will give him a lift to really push the players onward to get back in the race. This is a league race that may see four teams all vying for that pot of gold. So Moyes knows that there is a real opportunity to keep getting back in the mix. But, the more games they lose, the further away they get and the more impossible the task. I honestly don't believe under Moyes United will retain their title. But then again, they do have the deadliest finisher in the league and football has taught us how things can change. Just like when United stopped Arsenal's unbeaten run, the Gunners never recovered and United went on to win the league.

Things Change.

David Jeremiah Moyes....tis the time to NOT be glory, but to WIN this match at all costs.
