Cannibal Suarez Puts Forth One of THE Great Individual Performances for Liverpool against Norwich

He may eat people, he may be racist, and I think he may be mentally unbalanced....but one thing is for sure, anybody who appreciates football and those with the natural talent of the game, have to stand up and applaud the Cannibal. Yes, I don't like the guy and he has done things that I just find pretty unforgettable, but what I saw was quite outstanding. The first goal was a damn great strike, the second showed natural striker's instinct and the fourth was a perfectly executed curler of a free-kick, but THAT third goal, is one of the best goals that I have ever seen. Anybody who DARES even mentions Cristiano putting in a better individual performance than this needs to get their face punched in.

There are just guys out there who have the game in their souls. There are those players who each time they touch the ball, you can FEEL they have the game flowing through their veins. Suarez is that kind of player. His body movement, footballing IQ and his mentality are all of a LEADING footballer. What he has been doing for Liverpool has been quite incredible and his four goals against Norwich MUST make everyone in the world take notice. It is just such a shame that he's a bit of an idiot, which does detract a bit from the very obvious gift for the game that he has.  People may mention Messi, that other dude and Ibrahimovic, but I am sorry, THIS URUGUAYAN has to be firmly in the conversation. He just has to, whether you like him or not.

Anyone that saw that third goal will have had their jaw on the floor, with eight shovels needed to shut it back up. The dribble was just amazing, using just a slight touch to lift the ball in his direction past the defender who was bamboozled. Then waiting till the ball was at the right height and hitting an extremely difficult half-volley that ended in the bottom corner, had me disbelieving what I had just seen. I had already been told he scored a great goal, but when people hype things up,  they never live up to expectations. It's only when finally seeing it that I just have to be real and say that this guy IS one of the best footballers in the world right now.

The Evra race row is something that he won't ever live down. That's the problem. No matter how many great goals he scores, or the performances he puts in....there is something WRONG with him. You put in the eating of human flesh aspect, it just dampens the whole picture.
   Whatever happens and whatever Suarez goes on to do in his career, these incidents will always be that unwanted asterisk. I truly believe he will have an amazing World Cup if fit, and once he eventually leaves Liverpool, he will go on to do even greater things at Madrid or whoever he chooses. Trust me, the Cannibal still has a lot more that he can show the world....but does that also come with the darker aspects?
