Robben Hood is INJURED!!!! Can Bayern Cope without the Dutch Perfectionist?

Well, he had to go down eventually. After playing so well, scoring so many goals recently for Bayern, Robben has finally succumbed to injury and may be missing for a while. This means Pep may be without him for the Club World Cup as well as some other league matches. So, the question is whether Bayern can cope without their star man.

Super Mario(The German Version) has already gotten back to his best for Bayern and will be more than happy to fill that important void left by Robben. He may not have the speed and fearless running AT defenders, but the kid has the awareness and footballing technique to open up a defence with a cutter to a striker or find the goal himself as he did against Dortmund. Pep will be looking for Gotze to really feature prominently in his plans while Robben is injured. I do think that Gotze may be one of the stars at the next World Cup, and if he can steer clear from injury, he may have a really special season and show many that may not know why he is one of the most psychologically advanced young footballers in the world right now.

Thiago is a player who has fitted in pretty well at Bayern already. When Pep decided to take him, I did not see how that would have hurt Barcelona in any way. Now, with Barcelona struggling without Messi and in need of that creative player to provide for Sanchez and Neymar, it's becoming clear as to what they are missing.
Do not be fooled, he may have put on a Spanish jersey at the Under-21 World Cup, but this boy IS a Brazilian. They way in which he plays is something that can only come from having Brazilian blood. The reason as to why Pep brought him in was shown when Bayern scored their second against Dortmund. It was his brilliant pass to Robben that lead to my favorite Dutch brother finishing it off VERY nicely.
This guy has a great eye for the pass. He's able to see things others don't, and has the technique to PROPERLY deliver the right ball that lends exactly where it needs to. Whether it's a long range ball from one side of the pitch to the next, or timing a chip that goes over defenders over to an attacker, Thiago has that in his arsenal and will be required to provide that as the season enters its maturity.

Bayern have the strongest squad in the world. Without Robben they should be able to cope, but Pep cannot ASSUME they will. Robben, as he has shown, is a damn killer and takes no prisoners. When Bayern have been in a puddle and not playing well, Robben GETS the goal and goes home. Pep will need someone to do that, as he will want the Club World Cup and won't want to give Dormund or Leverkusen any hint of a chance of catching Bayern.
