Is Bale The Final Piece Madrid Need for Champions League Ecstacy? Just Maybe....
Erm...where are all those guys saying he would be a flop? Where are all those who jumped to conclusions that he was overpriced and would not cut it? Well, he's scored in the Champions League twice, scored an amazing free-kick and has just popped in a little hat-trick using all elements of his body. Head, right, left....it's as easy as bread with the touch that's deft. Bale has ARRIVED, and could this be what Milan have been missing?
Many thought his talents only remained in the Premiership. Those many are fools and did not do their maths.
Cristiano was a goal machine in the Premiership, but took it to a whole other level in La Liga. Bale was a goal machine in the Premiership, if FIT, he WILL take it to a whole other level in La Liga.
Maths, ain't it simple?
Bale is happily carrying the incredibly tough burden of carrying Madrid without the great one, the all powerful and invincible super-hero called Cristina...I mean, CRISTIANO Ronaldo(hehe). He has stepped up and said he can be THE man, and I feel that again, if this boy is fit and sharp, Madrid are one of the most dangerous attacking teams in the world right now. With just Cristiano, they are dangerous but WITH Bale? Let me break down something for all you cats right now...
I hope you are seeing how Tottenham are struggling. AVB had A HUNDRED MILLION to spend and almost bought a whole new team...but still...STILL...they are not as good as they were with one man. Bale SINGLE-HANDEDLY carried Spurs to within touching distance of Champions League qualification. His influence was profound and I cannot remember when last ONE PLAYER had such an effect on an entire team. So that just tells you what it means for Madrid to have Bale at his best. It is a very, very frightening concept and it just might be what Ancelotti needs to win the grand prize.
I'm hearing Ramos might be sold which leads me to believe Ancelotti is looking to strengthen that defence. That right now is where Madrid are most susceptible. If they can bolster that up, because Varane CAN'T defend all on his own only Baresi can and he's retired, then with Bale and Cristiano on the pitch, would you bet against them beating down and spanking every other team in their path? Cristiano now has a partner in crime and sue me for saying this, he has a dude that DOES NOT require the perfect pass to score. Two bona-fide goalscorers on the pitch rather than just the one is usually a recipe for success. Watch this space....
