Make No Mistake About It, Liverpool CAN Win the League after DECIMATION of Tottenham

So....Liverpool are looking like they want to aim for the real heights. I was informed that FOURTH was their aim. But if you look at the league table, the are second behind Arsenal and only TWO points behind them. It's the middle of December and by my calculations that means Liverpool are currently title challengers. Rodgers has done quite amazing work getting the best out of the Cannibal and building a balanced team that play GOOD football.

All the headlines will be about Cannibal Suarez. To an extent they should be, because he is EASILY playing the best football as an individual in the entire country. What he is doing on the pitch and his influence is FUNDAMENTAL to Liverpool succeeding. But even before he returned from suspension, Rodgers got the best out of Sturridge and they were winning, with that victory over United.
A lot of the praise has to go to Rodgers who has made the team from BACK TO FRONT, very strong and looking like a team that can go on and win this title. Yes, I said that...THEY CAN WIN THE LEAGUE. It's all down to them getting those points and being CONSISTENT. As long as their role players play and play well, Liverpool will be the favorites for the title. Rodgers and everyone knows that Liverpool have the best player in the league and once you have that, you will ALWAYS have a chance in any match.

This was a superb performance. Henderson most definitely deserved the Man-of-the-Match award as without Gerrard, he was able to really hold down the midfield and outplay Capoue and Dembelé. The real question is if Liverpool can be as direct and ruthless as they were against Spurs yesterday. If they can do that, and really perform at such a level....they WILL beat every other team outside of City, Everton and Chelsea. Even those three I mentioned, I am not sure if they could handle the Cannibal playing well and being dangerous. He is just too hard to keep quiet and ineffective.

It's going to be a superb finish and we may see this as one of the great finishes to a season in a long time. If Liverpool can keep the Cannibal, Coutinho, Sturridge and my boy Moses fit and sharp....as shocking as it may sound, Liverpool may finally bring back the league crown to their hometown.
