Mighty Bayern take on the Lippi Guided Guangzhou Evergrande in Club World Cup Semi Duel

It's that time of the year again with the Club World Cup swinging into town. Bayern are coming into the tournament expecting to face Dinho's Athletico Mineiro in the Final, and eventually win it. That is what is SUPPOSED to happen, but football has its way of saying NAH, it don't roll like that. Bayern are not only facing an unknown element in this semi, but they are going up against one of THE legends in football management.

Lippi is a legend in the Serie A with his excellent work for Juventus and he was the one that against all odds, gave Italy their World Cup. The team definitely played well but Lippi was the key factor to them winning rather than a star carrying the team to glory.
Now, Marcello has already come and done wonders for the club by actually giving them the trophy that has put them in this competition for the FIRST time in their history. After such a short time in the Far East, he will go down in history as putting Chinese football on the map by getting into this Club World Cup. But being Italian, Lippi has that winning mentality that never goes away. Already, the defensive organization and tactics will be being perfected during the training sessions, as he will know that will be the FIRST of his worries in trying to keep out the BEAST that is the Bayern army.

Pep has won this before with Barcelona and make no mistake, he aims to win it AGAIN. They are expected to win it and I just don't see any team out there strong enough to compete with them. That being said, he must be weary of the mysterious element of Guangzhou. These are always very tricky teams to prepare and play against. When you are expected to win and win EASILY, that is where mistakes can creep in, too many passes, not enough incision and decisivness. It's what Lippi will be hoping Bayern fall into and Pep must not allow for that to happen and make sure Bayern start the match well and impose their dominance by putting away the NUMEROUS chances that they will get.

Should be a good match. I am very interested to see how Lippi shuts down the threats of Bayern and how he will set his team up. As well, cannot forget the players of Guangzhou who will see this grand stage as a time to impress and show they can step up to Bayern. But, to be honest and truthful, I predict a two or three goal deficit with Bayern being able to cut through that defence with Ribery and Muller pretty much tearing them to pieces by finding space. I HOPE I am proven wrong and Lippi's men perhaps can surprise the world.
