Barcelona are in for a BOUT when they take on Man City

Barcelona would not have wanted this. They may feel they can beat anyone based on their past achievements, but THIS was one match they did not want so early. Manchester City are a very strong and powerful team, and after finally beating Bayern, Barcelona will have to be very weary about the threat that they pose.

The Spanish giants will need to find a way from stopping my titan bull, KUN Aguero. IF he plays, he will be a problem and Barcelona will need to employ their pressing game to the EXTREME in order to stop Aguero and his comrades. Barcelona will not want to have their defence exposed with Puyol getting older, Pique not being the same and Mascherano....
   This should be quite a game but if you research closer, Barcelona could make this look easy. All they need to do is look at how Bayern kept the ball when they played at the Etihad and how they closed and shut down City from playing any aspect of their game. That is what Barcelona will be hoping to do, and it is IMPERATIVE Neymar and Messi will be on that pitch.

Messi should be back and sharp by the time these two teams play. The Argentine hobbit will be invaluable to the Catalans and he is someone that would cause havoc in the City defence. If they can get Messi and Neymar really involved and Iniesta bursting through to spray decisive passes, then Barcelona may crush City....just as Bayern did.
  Without Messi, Barcelona lack that extra something NEEDED to beat City. Neymar is definitely up and coming but is not yet established enough to really take on the City defence all by himself.

I am hoping this is a close match with lots of attacking play. If Barcelona somehow get their game together and sort out City in the first leg, then the tie will be all over. City will be very confident going into the game knowing this is not the Barcelona force of before. The CAN be beaten and they have the right players that can really hurt them. However, don't you for one second think that the winner of this match will become favorites for the title......
