VAN GAAL MUST START WITH DEPAY, AND CONTROL THE GAME FOR HOLLAND TO BEAT THESUPER-ORGANISED MEXICANS

So Holland are on the road of REDEMPTION. To put right what went wrong...three times. Yes, Holland have been to the final THREE times, and have lost, THREE times. That is NOT good. Well, their road to another final will NOT be easy. They are going up against a very strong Mexican side, and this World Cup has already taught us that the "smaller" teams have no respect for the bigger ones. We know Robben and Van Persie will both start...but Van Gaal MUST opt to go in with Depay to form a DEVASTATING trio.

Neymar and Rodriguez have been the two standout stars and YOUNG GUNS of the World Cup...no doubt about that. But, under the radar, I have really like Depay. Apart from his two goals, he seems like the one midfielder who is most comfortable with breaking from midfield and being able to connect with Van Persie and Robben. And in what will be a very difficult match for Holland where the Mexicans will do everything to make it hard for them to get into any sort of flow, having a player that can turn away from defenders and find space to run into the danger area will be VERY helpful in trying to get Van Persie and Robben into the game. THAT is the key Holland have in winning this game. Those are two Dutch Nuclear weapons that if used, can decimate any team that they come against. But Mexico are wise enough to know that and will try and stop ANY service and supply to them.

What Van Gaal does not want it Van Persie and Robben having to come back deep in midfield to collect the ball. THAT is not going to be very helpful. He needs them in the danger areas and that means De Jong, Blind and hopefully Depay need to work extra hard to stop what will be a congested midfield and get the ball to their star-men.

In these kinds of situations, when a well-organized team like the Mexicans come up against you, there is a need of someone to rise to the occasion. My cash money is on Depay. With all the focus on RVP and Robben Hood, Depay can make a name for himself and be THAT GUY who keeps shooting, finding space and perhaps can get onto a ball from Robben, and take Holland into the quarter-finals.
